...Pam Westmoreland...
I am Pam Westmoreland and I'm married to George. I have worked with children with disabilities since I was 19 in lots of different ways, voluntary in other countries, as well as with adults and families and at present am working for Calderdale's Disabled Children's Team, my longest job, being there 9 years.
I am also a qualified and practising counsellor with UCHM.

1) Where were you born? |
Halifax Infirmary with the help of forceps, didn't want to come out into this world! |

2) When did you become a Christian? |
My first serious commitment was about 1965 and then after a serious relapse of 24 years I once again became a Christian about 1995. |

3) Have you been a regular member at any other church? |
Only Lee Mount Baptist |

4) Which web site do you visit most regularly...other than www.leemountbaptist.org.uk |
www.toybox.org which is an organisation that works with streetchildren and families in Guatemala, Bolivia and now also Peru. |

5) What has your worst job ever been? |
I have been very lucky not to have a worst job but there have been parts of my various jobs that have been harder than others. |

6) Who from growing up has been your biggest influence? |
I guess it would have to be my mum but there have been many people at different periods of my life that have been big influences. God is very good at placing people in your path just when they are needed. |

7) What is your favourite meal? |
Something with fish. |

8) Who or what makes you laugh? |
Children, Blackadder and many of the email jokes. |

9) Where is your favourite holiday destination? |
Anywhere in Greece that is very Greek. |

10) Which CD or book would you take to a desert island? |
I'd take a survival book to help me survive! |

11) Which CD or book would you throw into room 101? |
Guides for computer and technical equipment. Always make me feel really stupid. |

12) What is your earliest memory? |
Digging worms out of the garden and lining them all up on the wall to show our neighbours. |

13) What is an important lesson life has taught you? |
There are positives in every situation, even if it is difficult to see that at the time. |

14) What is your most embarrassing moment? |
Being a bridesmaid and having to wear a dress |

15) Who would play you in a film of your life? |
No idea |

16) Who would be your ideal dinner party guests? |
Michael Palin, cos of his travels, Tony Robinson, cos I love history and Time Team, my niece Bev cos she's great company and gets on with everyone, my niece Laura cos she is that really interesting age and George cos he always supports me. |

17) Which word or phrase do you most over-use? |
Perhaps someone can tell me. |

18) What keeps you awake at nights? |
George not being able to sleep!!! |

19) How would you spend your perfect day? |
Somewhere warm, a quiet hour to myself, good fruit breakfast, snorkelling or diving, light lunch, relaxing with a good book, good music and interesting conversation, watching nature, birds, lovely evening meal, glorious sunset and so to bed. Not much really!! |

20) What is one piece of advice you would give to others? |
Don't listen to me... No, I think it would be that what has gone before cannot be changed, but you can take positive steps to change how you respond to what is to come, and with God anything is possible. |
