Well it's August...

Welcome to August!!!

Dear Friends,

I read this wonderful verse the other day in my daily readings and I wanted to share it with you all.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour....."

If ever we need confirmation that we are precious to our Father in heaven then it is to be found in this verse. It speaks so clearly of God's care for us, his children.

It speaks alongside other passages like "even the hairs of your head are numbered". It speaks alongside passages which state that the Father knows when even a sparrow falls to the ground, and we are more precious to Him than sparrows.

It speaks to our hearts this day as we all go through difficult times that our God will not let any harm come to us, because we are His.

Take comfort from this passage, my friends, be encouraged in your daily walks, for we do not walk alone - we walk with God, and He will not let anything harm us.

As David said, "Even though I walk through

the valley of the shadow of death I will fear

no evil, for you are with me."
